Petrol's New Camlap Trolley Backpack Ready for EX1s

Petrol, a Vitec Group brand, has introduced the Camlap Trolley Backpack. This new roll-along professional camera backpack has been specially designed to safely carry a Sony PMW-EX1, a laptop computer and many accessories.

The Camlap unzips from top to bottom, providing a U-shaped opening for quick access to contents while on the job. Inside the main chamber, internal adjustable binding straps and Petrol's SPS (sliding pipe system) secures the camera and keeps it in place. Four removable dividers can be custom configured into pockets for holding and organizing accessories. The contents are protected on all sides by layers of fabric. A second, padded rear pocket can hold up to a 17-inch laptop.

The Camlap has heavy-duty inline skate wheels and an adjustable trolley handle. Polypropylene-injected legs lift and safeguard the bottom of the bag from damage. Additional features include an open side pocket to hold a water bottle, an envelope-style zippered side pocket for additional storage, and an exterior zippered front pocket with personal organizer. The exterior is constructed of heavy-duty blue and black Cordura and ballistic nylon.

The Camlap Trolley Backpack measures 12.8-by-14.2-by-21.3 inches and is tailored to hold the Sony PMW-EX1 and HVR-Z1, Panasonic DVX100B, JVC JYE 300D, and similar size HDV/DV camcorders.
