Pappas Telecasting Companies has selected Harris to supply its OSi-Traffic solution to centralize the broadcast advertising traffic and accounting operations for most of its 27 stations at the company’s new Fresno technical operations center.
OSi-Traffic provides broadcasters with the ability to integrate with Harris-supplied broadcast automation solutions as well as those of third-party companies, which Pappas considered critical for its station group going forward.
OSi-Traffic can support a centralized traffic structure across an entire TV station group with accuracy and efficiency. This is accomplished by leveraging the power of a relational database that coordinates the demands of multiple stations, with multiple channels, operating in a consolidated environment.
