Panasonic unveils first professional LCD panel
By TVTechnology published
Panasonic Broadcast will introduce the 32in. diagonal TH-32LHD7UY LCD display, the company’s first professional LCD panel.
The TH-32LHD7UY is a 1366x768 pixel WXGA-resolution LCD panel with f 500cd/m² brightness and an 800:1 contrast ratio.
The high-definition 16:9 aspect ratio panel can display 16.77 million colors and offers a 170 degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle.
The panel’s 3-D Color Management system is a new correction process that works in a three-dimensional color matrix (hue, saturation and brightness) rather than the conventional two-dimensional color differential plane. By correcting hue and brightness independently and providing finer control, the TH-32LHD7UY presents natural skin tones and vivid colors. The LCD panel has a service life of approximately 60,000 hours.
