Panasonic, an official supplier to the 2004 Summer Olympics has chosen Leitch Technology's Panacea routing switchers and its 6800+ modular infrastructure platform for broadcast coverage of the Games in Athens, Greece. Panasonic first used Leitch equipment for the 1996 Atlanta Games, and was attracted to the routers' compact size and the flexibility of the infrastructure for next year's event. Additionally, Leitch's MediaFile clip and still store system will be used.
