Test and measurement manufacturer OmniTek will exhibit the latest versions of its award-winning TQ, XR and LAB products at IBC2007.
The TQ system is a comprehensive monitoring system for all video, audio, and metadata functions. It contains high-resolution waveform and vectorscope displays, full audio monitoring capabilities (now including Dolby), audio/video delay measurements, error logging, and MPEG macroblock detection, all controlled by touchscreen.
XR is an HD image analysis system designed for colorists and post-production editors. Features include "extreme resolution" waveform and vector displays for total image analysis, real-time color histogram displays in a variety of gamuts, support for all 2k and dual-link input formats (user-programmable LUTs to correct non-linear inputs), and support for "XYZ" color space inputs for digital cinema.
LAB is the industry-standard system for digital video generation and analysis. Offering a full-motion video test pattern generator with comprehensive data analysis capabilities, the system provides a "one stop shop" for all of a video engineer's testing requirements. LAB features include the ability to capture, store, and play-out video images or sequences complete with the associated blanking interval data, which may contain audio, timecode or any other ancillary data packets. LAB can also capture input data on detection of user-defined video errors.
