OmniBus Systems has launched a value-added reseller (VAR) program for iTX, the company’s software-based production and transmission solution. Resellers looking to provide solutions for mobile TV, as well as traditional broadcast, IPTV and Internet applications, are the primary intended recipients of the program.
With the program, potential VARs are taken through a detailed evaluation process to establish their strengths and potential target markets. Once accepted into the program, they attend a sales and technical training course at OmniBus' UK headquarters, at the end of which they are fully equipped to propose, install and train on iTX.
VARs with an existing support structure in place are also given the option to offer first- and second-tier support services. Resellers have access to a range of services from OmniBus, including marketing and lead-generation support and a dedicated iTX Web site with the latest support information, software updates, training guides and other product documentation.
