Nvision Introduces New HD Branding Engine

Nvision Inc. is now providing a new high-definition branding device that installs within a customer's existing signal routing system. It's targeted at television stations wishing to move from providing "pass through" HD programming to locally inserting branding, commercials and other interstitial material.

The HD Branding Engine was designed to fit into the Nvision NV5128 router frame and has inputs for 16 HD signals. It includes two voice-over mixers and has an internal audio/video A/B mixer. There's also an emergency bypass relay for program output.

"Key to our success is the company's commitment to technology excellence and affordable high-performance routing products that are developed based on user input," said Chuck Meyer, president and CEO of Nvision. "We continue our leadership in HD routing technology that makes HD easy for stations to use and that delivers on reliable, error-free signal transmission."

The new product will be shipping in Q4.
