NVIDIA has begun shipping the NVIDIA Quadro Plex 1000 dedicated visual computing system (VCS).
The NVIDIA Quadro Plex VCS, available in three models, is designed to interface with standard workstations and servers to deliver advanced scalability for demanding professional applications, including those powering multiple streams of 4K HD video, digital content creation and visual effects, and 3-D styling and design.
Available in a desktop or 3RU configuration, using NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU technology, the NVIDIA Quadro Plex VCS provides:
- Massive density improvement of up to 20x more than traditional GPU solutions
- Performance of up to 80 billion pixels/second and 7 billion vertices/second
- Resolutions as high as 148 megapixels on 16 synchronized digital output channels and eight HD-SDI channels
- Advanced scalability
