Neyrinck releases major updates to SoundCode for Dolby E

Neyrinck has announced a major update to SoundCode For Dolby E that adds support for Windows XP and Vista and adds features for Avid Media Composer, Apple Final Cut Pro, and other media workstation systems. Available as a standalone software package and Pro Tools plug-in set for encoding and decoding, SoundCode for Dolby E version 1.1.3 is designed for post-production, live broadcast and content distribution organizations working in either videotape or digital files.

The new version 1.1.3 adds new E decoding features. The standalone software can decode a stream faster-than-real time to BWF files that can be directly imported into Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro and other workstations. It can also play back a file in real time for audition using Core Audio or Windows MME sound hardware. Thus, video editors can receive Dolby E content, audition it, decode it, and import it for editing and mixing. The encoder function can now deliver both multi-mono and interleaved BWF files for direct import into Pro Tools. The new version is fully compatible with Pro Tools 8 HD and LE, making Neyrinck SoundCode For Dolby E a complete encode/decode solution for Media Composer, Final Cut, Pro Tools, or any other media workstation that uses BWF audio files.

SoundCode For Dolby E version 1.1.3 is now available worldwide at resellers and online. Existing owners can download the update at no charge.
