NETIA launches Dragster image detector
By TVTechnology published
NETIA’s new Dragster image detector searches for the appearance of certain images among a set of several thousand images and instantly sends a notice that the desired image has been detected, enabling external programs to react to the event.
Able to work with a video feed in real time or digital files, Dragster accepts poor quality signals (tested with VHS and MPEG-1) and performs full- or partial-image recognition (down to the size of a logo or inlaid text). It works in real time with an analog or digital video source, or in file mode with practically any video file format.
Dragster has numerous real-time applications, including automatic switching of equipment and program schedules, launching file playback on video servers and starting an encoder or recording on a video server.
