The new Toboggan MediaTransfer solution allows users to automatically move MXF media (video, audio and metadata) into an AVID workflow. Toboggan MediaTransfer was designed for both Workgroups 4 (MediaManager) and Workgroups 5 (Interplay) environments, yet it can run in either a workgroup or standalone configuration.
Toboggan MediaTransfer features include one-touch ingest operation, background file ingest of media files, hot-folder and hot-swap modes, automation interfaces, plus GUI for remote and local control.
Support for MXF SD & HD devices include Grass Valley Infinity, Ikegami EditCam, Panasonic P2, Sony XDCAM, and others. Supported Avid applications include Media Composer, NewsCutter, Symphony Nitris, Nearchive, Unity ISIS , Unity MediaNetwork, and LANShare.
