Miranda Launches New Imagestrore Processors at IBC

Miranda rolled out its new Imagestore HD/SD branding and master control processors at IBC in Amsterdam.

The Imagestore HDTV, Imagestore Intuition HD and Imagestore 300 processors enable broadcasters to output HD/SD channel branding and promotional graphics with multichannel audio mixing. Automation--that uses the Oxtel protocol--and the multichannel HD/SD PresStation or Premaster 2 master control switcher panels control the new processors.

New features include a dual DVE and a four group audio mixer. The dual DVE option allows high quality, dual picture-in-picture effects for programming junctions and promo graphics. The audio mixer offers 16-channel audio mixing using embedded or AES audio, and offers a solution for multichannel audio playing, including 5.1 multilingual broadcasting.

The new Imagestore Intuition HD coprocessor extends the graphics capabilities of Imagestore HDTV to allow the play-out of multilevel HD channel branding by playing out multiple crawls, rolls, dynamic text layers and still/animated graphics.

Imagestore 300 is a 2RU Linux-based SDI channel branding and master control switching processor that features dual 2D/3D DVEs, video and 16-channel audio mixing, eight-channel audio play-out, automated character generation and EAS support.
