The Media 100 division of Boris FX announced that Media 100 HD Version 10.1.3 is now available as a free download for users of Media 100 HD Version 10 and later releases. The HD and SD nonlinear editing software is designed to be used in a hybrid environment of mixed codecs and formats.
Steve Bayes, director of product marketing for Media 100 in Boston, said, "We are continuing to improve the Media 100 product by making it more stable during this period of transition to management by Boris FX." He added that a development roadmap would be supplied soon and that there would be more announcements at the upcoming NAB.
The revision provides users with more flexibility when viewing bin clips, as well as improving audio and video synchronization. An improvement in the rendering real-time effects is also offered.
