Leitch Extends HD Capabilities

Leitch Technology , its Videotek division along with recently acquired Inscriber, will showcase several hi-def devices this year, including the 1 RU X75 HD up/down/cross converter with HD frame sync and A/V processing. Other items on display--eight new HMX6800+ multiplexers and the HDX6800+ demultiplexer; a new next-generation Command Control System panel that communicates in real time with NEO, 6800+, and X75 processing products and Leitch routers; and the new HFS6800+ video frame synchronizer/processor and new modules for the Neo platform. Leitch will also showcase CCS-Trax, which integrates router and processor operations; SNMP support for monitoring; Panacea Clean/Quiet Switch and Panacea Lite; Neo SuiteView and Neo SuiteView Solo; Nexio HD; a new software release for VelocityHD; and VTM test-and-measurement equipment.

The Videotek division will debut the TVM-950HD multiformat, HD/SDI monitor; three new modules for the Signal Quality Manager centralized monitoring system; and the APM-210 1 RU stereo audio monitor.
