Lectrosonics To Unveil New Wireless System at AES

Lectrosonics of Rio Rancho, N.M., will launch the TM400 a new wireless system during the Audio Engineers Society (AES) Convention in San Francisco.

The system--use for sound test and measurement--uses the Lectrosonic digital hybrid technology to encode the audio signal into a 24-bit datastream and transmits the signal over an analog UHF carrier.

This approach maintains the frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz ± 1dB and a signal to noise ratio of 107 dB.

The TM400 system consists of the UH400TM 100 mW plug-on transmitter, the R400 receiver and a waterproof carrying case.
