Laird To Launch Media Converter at NAB

At next month's NAB in Las Vegas, Laird Telemedia is introducing its LTM-6000 Media Converter based on its LTM-5000 series that delivers hybrid signal conversion for media production markets.

The LTM-6000 features an RS-422 machine control via a 9-pin Dsub connection, dual signal analog outputs in all formats, external genlock, blackburst signal output and a selectable setup (0 IRE or 7.5 IRE).

The new media converter incorporates the features of its predecessor, including full component, YC and composite video conversion, balanced audio using XLR connectors, VU audio metering and bi-directional SDI. The LTM-6000 is compatible with Windows 2000 and most camcorders and is housed in a 2 RU rack mount cabinet.
