Irdeto Access demonstrated its latest content security solutions for mobile, digital and IPTV environments at NAB2005.
The company showed its IPTV solution that has been deployed at SureWest Communications in Sacramento, CA. The demonstration featured a full end-to-end solution for IPTV that incorporates major components of broadcast TV, VOD services, middleware and content security. The solution offers a choice of a secure software client or a physical smart card with patented over-the-air update technology.
Other demonstrations included HD content streaming over IP through an IP set-top box with an HD output and a mobile demo showcasing video being streamed live as customers channel surf a mobile phone
