FOR-A Expands Hanabi Line With HVS-1000HS

Audio and video systems manufacturer FOR-A debuted an addition to its Hanabi switcher series at this year's InterBEE exhibition in Japan. The Hanabi HVS-1000HS is a one mix/effect, 2RU version of the two M/E Hanabi HVS-3000 H/S digital HD or SD switcher, supporting 1080i, 24p, 720p and standard definition formats. The switcher features two types of operation units or different applications. The HVS-1000EOU is for editing and in-studio applications, and the HVS-1000LOU is suited for OB and live production. One DVE card comes pre-installed on the HVS-1000HS, and up to two optional DVE cards can be installed. Additionally, it comes with four inputs, and can be configured for up to 16 inputs. PGM x 2, PVW x 1 and AUX x 1 outputs are standard, with a maximum of seven outputs available.

The company also featured its digiWarp-EXII and digiStorm virtual studio systems at the InterBEE show, as well as its IVS-700HS high-definition image stabilizer, 3D VWS HD/SD character generator system and UFM-145DFS TBC frame synchronizer with UFM-100AED audio interface.
