All ClipRecorder XTreme models have dual-link HD, HD and SD inputs and outputs with 8- or 10-bit support.

Digitalvideo Computing (DVC) will debut its ClipRecorder XTreme digital disk recorder at NAB2005.

ClipRecorder XTreme features the new XENA2 (former KONA2) uncompressed multistandard I/O boards. All ClipRecorder XTreme models have dual-link HD, HD and SD inputs and outputs with 8- or 10-bit support. They also have the option to operate in 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 modes. An analog component output with 12-bit D/A conversion is available.

With the XENA2 I/O channel, up- and downconversion from HD to SD and vice versa is supported. The new server platform allows multiple XENA I/O boards to be used.
