DNF Adds Control and Interface to Sony MAV DDRs

DNF Controls has released control and interface systems for video editors who use Sony's MAV-555A and MAV-777 multiaccess digital video disk recorders.

The integrated control system uses DNF's 4000CL Production Switcher Interface to cue, roll and recue video segments stored on the DDRs and link them to production controls on Sony's MVS switcher.

The combination of products targets sportscasters who need easy access to clips, transitional effects and replays. The integrated system provides one-button control of transitions, complex openings and preprogrammed timeline elements. Production switchers can directly control the DDR with the production switcher interface. Graphics and animations stored on multiple channels can be played out simultaneously.
