Clear-Com to get heard with new suite of intercom systems

Clear-Com will showcase Encore, its newest generation of party-line intercom systems at IBC2007. Encore comes to Amsterdam with an updated user-interface and a new dark-blue body with LED indicators and enhanced audio.

Also from Clear-Com, the Eclipse V-Series panels for the Eclipse Digital Matrix intercom system includes new pushbutton and lever key variants and a range of full display extension panels. The panel keys allow individual users to set levels that suit their workflows.

The Tempest 2400 license-free, wireless intercom system offers unrestricted mobility in the unlicensed 2.4 GHz band through Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum and TDMA technologies in tandem. The Tempest supports up to 50 full duplex wireless beltpacks.

CellCom (known outside the United States and Canada as FreeSpeak) is a digital wireless intercom system using digital matrix technology with a locally distributed wireless network that operates in the license-free 1.9 GHz band. Enhancements include software upgrades to restore factory default settings, improved electronics with internal silent vibrator alert, and multiway battery charger.

The new Eclipse Easi-PiCo is a pre-configured entry-level plug-and-play digital matrix intercom system for production teams in broadcast and live performance venues that demand point-to-point intercommunication on a small scale. This system includes a modified 16-port matrix frame and external interface cards.

Clear-Com, a Vitec company, will be at Stand 9.141.
