Broadcast Engineering World Edition announces IBC2005 Pick Hits

Broadcast Engineering World Edition has recognized 20 manufacturers with Pick Hit Awards for their outstanding new product introductions at IBC2005.

A panel of elite judges who actively work in the broadcast, production, cable and satellite industries selected the winners from the 1000 exhibits and countless product introductions and updates shown in Amsterdam last week.

This is the first year Pick Hits winners have been chosen at the International Broadcasting Convention. Previously, the magazine had confined Pick Hits solely to the annual NAB convention. However, given the growing importance of IBC as a venue for new technology introductions, the magazine chose to expand the awards to the international convention. Full coverage of the winners will be published in the November issue.
