Bridge Technologies Delivers New Version of IP-Probe

At IBC2008, Bridge Technologies will showcase version 3.7 software for its series of IP-Probes for monitoring digital TV service quality.

Provided free of charge to existing IP-Probe owners, v3.7 allows users to record transport streams into files on the IP-Probe with alarm-triggered recording. The ETSI TR 101 290 analysis capability is extended with further new functionality in the graphical user interface. ETSI TR 101 290 now provides full ATSC, PSIP, and DVB support for completely global operation. The real-time "sniffer" has also been enhanced and the protocol view now provides a breakdown into uni- and multicast streams, as well as the number of unicast streams present on the interface.

Also from Bridge, the VideoBridge series of IP-Probes provides an advanced industrial platform for converging TV services employing stream-based IP packets. Compatible with all major stream-based industrial standards such as MPEG-2, h.264/AVC, and WM9/VC-1, the VideoBridge series offers a complete system for the continuous quality assurance of a network containing streaming media services.

Bridge Technologies will be at Stand 1.B29.
