BeaconSeek to hold SNG operations course

BeaconSeek has announced it will conduct its next basic SNG operations course, May 12-14, at the University of Bedfordshire in Luton, UK.

The three-day course is intended for anyone ranging from beginners to those with an intermediate level of knowledge. The number of available slots for the training is restricted to six to ensure adequate time is spent with each student.

The course begins by covering the main components of an SNG system and the theory behind what makes it work. Several practical exercises are included to reinforce the theory that was taught. Exercises include carrying out a site survey, rigging manually operated antennas for tests with satellites before beginning operations, undertaking transmission.
