Audemat-Aztec to Unveil DVB Software/Hardware Enhancements

At IBC, Audemat-Aztec will present Goldeneye DVB-quality evaluation software for their Navigator DVB mobile measurement unit.

The Goldeneye option will allow DVB broadcasters to quantify their signal by giving a quality index (from 1 to 5). Goldeneye allows audio and video recording so users can replay a campaign and locate the trouble spots.

Version 1 will give two common quality indicators. Version 2, available in December, will use the Audemat-Aztec algorithm. Existing Navigator DVB customers that purchase this option will receive the December software release free of charge.

Audemat-Aztec also will present a software and hardware update of their existing Navigator DVB T/H. The unit is now compatible with the 4K mode. The R&D teams have also produced a lighter (half the weight of the previous version, 5kg only) version of the unit to improve user-friendliness and portability. Navigator DVB T/H is a metering unit using a professional DVB-T / DVB-H diversity receiver.

Audemat-Aztec will be at Stand 8.159.
