Echolab Strengthens Global Focus With Appointment of Director of International Sales Chris

BILLERICA, Mass. -- March 11, 2008 -- Echolab Corporation, a leading provider of professional video production switchers and broadcast tools, today announced the appointment of Chris Hackett to the newly created position of director of international sales. In his new role with the company, Hackett will be responsible for further heightening awareness and adoption of Echolab solutions through the worldwide growth of sales channels and strategic partnerships.

"During the past three years, Chris has played an increasingly vital role in the expansion of our worldwide sales efforts, adding significantly to our channel partners and more than tripling our international sales," said Andy Roeder, director and vice president of worldwide sales. "Chris has already helped the company achieve key milestones, and we feel that his success to date makes him an ideal choice for oversight of our growing global sales operations."

Hackett joined Echolab in January of 2005 as a regional sales manager in the U.S. market. He was later promoted to international sales manager and given responsibility for reorganizing and building Echolab's international sales channel. While growing the company's international sales significantly during this time, Hackett was also responsible for helping establish a key new relationship in China, leading to a new partner and the opening of a new Echolab Singapore office dedicated to the Southeast Asian market.

In his career prior to Echolab, Hackett served as director of business development at Technology Performance Group, where his sales and marketing strategy advanced the adoption of the company's pharmaceutical solutions by five of the industry's top companies. He earlier held sales and management roles at Lydall, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of specialty engineered products for demanding thermal/acoustical and filtration/separation applications.
