RTW Designates New Distributor for Brazil

RTW, which provides professional audio control and visualization equipment, has designated Libor Comercio Importacao, Ltda, as its exclusive distributor for Brazil. As one of Brazil’s leading independent distributors, Libor has supplied complete audio and video systems for the Pan American Games and major television and radio broadcasters for more than 20 years. Libor also offers a wide range of rack equipment for studio use.

“Having previously provided instruments for metering stereo sound, we have been aware of RTW’s equipment for many years,” said Henry Spong, Libor’s managing director. “In Brazil, RTW has earned an outstanding reputation for its products as well as for the company’s commitment to its partners and customers. With our wholehearted support, we are confident RTW metering and control systems will continue to do very well here.”

Since the advent of HDTV in Brazil in 2008, Libor has been meeting major broadcasters’ demands for 5.1 surround capability by offering Studer digital consoles and TC Electronic processors. RTW control and visualization solutions will enable Libor to fill out its product line and better serve customers.

“Libor’s experience, expertise, and contacts throughout the Brazilian broadcast and professional studio markets have resulted in fruitful relationships with partners in Germany and around the world,” said Andreas Tweitmann, RTW managing director. “We were looking for an ongoing relationship that will further our success in Brazil, and we have found a reliable partner in Libor.”
