Vaddio Highlights Affordable, User-Friendly HD Solutions At WFX 2009

Vaddio, the global leader in robotic PTZ cameras and camera control systems in the audiovisual and videoconferencing industries, will showcase its affordable, easy-to-use HD solutions at this year’s WFX, October 29 - 30 in Charlotte, NC.

Leading the booth this year will be Vaddio’s ClearVIEW HD-18 single CCD high definition PTZ camera, equipped with a 1/3-inch, 1.3 megapixel CCD imaging sensor, a glass multi-element wide dynamic zoom lens (18x optical), a tally light and a 1.8-lux rating, providing superior images in a wide range of high-definition video applications.

Debuting at WFX for the first time are Vaddio’s two new seamless switchers, the ProductionVIEW HD-SDI and ControlVIEW XHD, as well as the new UXHD CrossPoint, a universal video scaler/converter. The ProductionVIEW HD-SDI is an integrated 6 x 2 HD/SD-SDI switcher that was designed as a multi-camera control system that connects easily via a single coax cable for video. ControlVIEW XHD is an automated robotic PTZ camera controller with HD, RGBHV and SD video switching, video transitions and camera preset trigger functionality. The UXHD CrossPoint is a dual input, dual output scaler and converter for analog and digital video.

“Churches are constantly striving to expand and reach larger audiences through new media,” explains Vaddio President, Rob Sheeley. “At Vaddio we understand that not every house of worship has the capabilities - or the staff - to create a large-scale audiovisual production. Whether you have a full-time audiovisual production staff or just parishioner volunteers, our products are designed to be easy enough to operate to accommodate any type of user.”

Stop by booth #1501 to see our complete line of cameras, switchers and camera control equipment. Vaddio will also be holding a training course, in partnership with Canon®, on the transition to shooting in HD and how robotic pan tilt zoom (PTZ) cameras provide a cost-effective, turnkey solution that also maximizes personal efficiency.
