TV One’s Universal Input/Output Seamless Switchers with Flexible Field Upgradability Made It’s Debut at InfoComm

ERLANGER, KY, June 23, 2008—TV One introduced four Universal Input/Output Seamless Switcher/Scalers in their booth at InfoComm. The new C2-3000 Series offers eight Universal Video inputs on HD15 connectors that can accommodate Composite Video, YC (S-Video), YUV/YPbPr Component, RGBHV, RGBS or RGsB formats. Two Universal Program outputs provide one Universal Analog via an HD15 that can be set to any analog format and resolution and the second is provided as DVI-D. The Preview output is an analog RGBHV signal that shows the selected input as a full screen image preview; CV and YC inputs are up-converted to RGBHV for viewing. The seamless switchers will start shipping in June. The basic model, the C2-3300, will have a suggested retail price of $3500.

The four different models available in the C2-3000 Series consist of:

C2-3300 – Basic model without audio or advanced video features like PIP, Mixing or Keying

C2-3310 – Basic model with Differential Stereo Audio Switching and Routing

C2-3350 – Advanced model with features such as PIP, Keying and Mixing

C2-3360 – Advanced model with features such as PIP, Keying and Mixing, plus Differential Stereo Audio

Switching and Routing

TV One takes product upgrading to a new level. The later three units listed above can be upgraded from the most basic model after delivery. Basic models may be upgraded to advanced models by adding the Mix/Key/PIP features by firmware upgrade at the user’s location in the field. The C2-3300 or C2-3350 may have audio added at any TV One Technical Support Center by adding the Stereo Audio switching board.

All of the C2-3000 Series are based on TV One’s exclusive CORIO®2 technology. All units provide high quality up, down and cross conversion from standard video formats to Computer or HDTV signals. NTSC and PAL video standards are supported. Our exclusive AutoSet feature takes the hassle out of setup by automatically sizing and positioning the computer image to fit exactly on the video screen. All settings are stored in non-volatile memory and are retained even when power is switched off. Variable Zoom to 10X allows you to enlarge any part of the video image to fill the entire computer screen and position controls allow you to move around to any area desired. Variable Shrink to as little as 10% allows fitting the image to any display. High bandwidth chroma sampling insures faithfully reproduced, high resolution colors.

Local control is provided by the push button Front Panel designed expressly for handling live events. These buttons plus the integrated LCD bring all the control needed for quick and easy access right to the front panel. The device can also be remotely controlled via an RS-232 or IP interface. A Windows control panel is included and the optional CC-300 Hardware Control Panel provides the look and feel of a production switcher. The unit comes standard with a rackmount ear kit, two BNC to HD-15 adapters and one YC to HD-15 adapter. Additional adapters are available as accessories.
