At ATEME's booth, Vincent Tep, product marketing manager, showed me the company's new 10-bit Hi422P solution for the contribution market. With 10-bit AVC/H.264 encoding, content is maintained throughout an IP/MPLS network at the same resolution and picture information level as the source. This ensures pristine video quality throughout as well as increased capacity over DVB-S2 satellite feeds.
