Ingest and Encoding (new versions!)

Digital Rapids’ award-winning StreamZ and StreamZHD systems continue to raise the bar for multi-format live and on-demand encoding solutions, seamlessly supporting three-screen experiences by offering simultaneous encoding to multiple formats and devices at unparalleled quality. A new software version for StreamZ and StreamZHD systems will be featured, further closing the gap between broadcast television operations and new distribution platforms while continuing Digital Rapids’ tradition of easy upgradeability to support new formats, features and distribution opportunities.

Live Streaming (new product and new versions!)

The new, multiple award-winning TouchStream live video streaming appliance will make its NAB debut. Ideal in the field, on a desktop or in a rack, TouchStream delivers Digital Rapids' renowned live streaming quality and reliability in a fully self-contained, easy-to-deploy appliance. Leveraging the most intuitive of human interfaces -- touch -- TouchStream appliances offer unparalleled ease of use through a touch-screen interface with integrated video monitoring.

For multi-channel, enterprise-class live streaming operations, our StreamZ Live family of encoders brings the exceptional output quality and robust reliability of our systems to a dedicated live streaming platform. Supporting distribution channels from IPTV to webcasting and mobile video, multiple StreamZ Live encoders can be combined with the Digital Rapids Broadcast Manager live encoder management software for centralized control, automation, monitoring and fault tolerance. A new version of Broadcast Manager will debut, featuring enhanced enterprise deployment capabilities, SNMP support and more.

Transcoding (new version!)

A new version of the Digital Rapids Transcode Manager distributed media transcoding software will be showcased, featuring expanded format support, enhanced enterprise integration capabilities and direct support for leading third-party Quality Control (QC) analysis tools for automated verification of output files. Scalable from small transcoding farms to enterprise level operations, Digital Rapids Transcode Manager provides centralized management, job monitoring, failover and intelligent load balancing, increasing production volume and reliability while reducing operational costs.

Delivery (new product!)

The Digital Rapids C2 media delivery framework streamlines the transfer of media files between multiple distribution and collaboration points. Working seamlessly with other Digital Rapids solutions as part of complete media distribution workflows, C2 combines exceptionally fast transfer speeds and reliability with network mesh topologies, parallel transfers, simultaneous send/receive and receipt verification for outstanding efficiency when distributing large media and files to multiple recipients.

Capture and Playout (new version!)

The CarbonHD capture and playout system features an intuitive, streamlined software interface for managing HD and SD capture, clip trimming, playlisting and playout. New features in the latest version debuting at NAB include automation through the VDCP protocol, and the addition of MPEG-2 playout to CarbonHD's existing uncompressed and JPEG2000 recording and playback capabilities.
