Class on Demand Renews Training Agreement With Defense Media Agency

Award-winning training company extends licensing agreement; provides online media instruction to hundreds of U.S. Air Force radio and television broadcasters

Hoffman Estates, IL – December 10, 2009 - Class on Demand®, a provider of professional educational products for creative markets, announced today that they have renewed their training agreement with the American Forces Radio and Television Service (AFRTS); part of the Defense Media Agency. AFRTS provides broadcast-quality radio and television programming for both U.S. military personnel and their families stationed overseas. AFRTS broadcast services encompass the Radio and Television Production Office, The Pentagon Channel News Center and the Defense Media Center. Under the agreement, entering its 5th year in January 2010, all AFRTS personnel, including broadcast producers from all four services, will have online access to a variety of Class on Demand training titles via a secure military network, including: "Training for After Effects®," "Designer's Guide to Photoshop®" and "Complete Training for Sony Vegas®."

"Technology is constantly being improved and upgraded. We need to ensure that those employees chartered with content production stay up-to-speed on the latest media and broadcast applications," says David Pullen, Chief of Operations, AFRTS. "Regardless of their media backgrounds, our producers can learn quickly and efficiently with Class on Demand. Their training titles are not only extremely informative, but can be accessed globally making them truly invaluable to our producers who are constantly on the move. We'd like to thank Class on Demand for continuing to help us provide our overseas service members and their families quality local news and information, year-after-year."

"We recognize that without the proper instruction, it is difficult for anyone to master current software enhancements. Fortunately, we update our training courses as soon as new version software is released, keeping military producers well-informed of the newest editing techniques" says Paul Holtz, CEO, Class on Demand. "We value our incredible relationship with the Defense Media Agency and look forward to working with them on creating even more amazing programming in the future for the thousands of military personnel serving our country."

The Defense Media Agency operates 33 full-service radio and television stations in 16 countries. The AFRTS uses seven satellites along with digital compression technology to provide services to over 1,000 outlets in 175 countries and U.S. Navy ships. Video production ranges from nightly newscasts and feature programs to live local radio, sports and news segments.
