Time Warner Cable Chooses OpenTV

Digital television solutions supplier OpenTV struck a deal with leading provider Time Warner Cable to manage their advertising sales operations throughout the United States. The span of this deal represents 12.3 million subscribers.
OpenTV’s EclipsePlus enables large providers to efficiently manage multichannel ad campaigns. It has already been deployed in Time Warner Cable’s regional operating centers, serving markets including New York, Los Angeles, Cleveland and Dallas.
“Our initial deployments of EclipsePlus have been very successful,” said Joan Gillman, executive vice president of Time Warner Cable. “The product’s scalability and adaptability to large advertising operations is a key advantage for us and we look forward to continued success through our partnership with OpenTV.”
