Genesis Networks Names Doug Triblehorn VP, Asia-Pacific

Genesis Networks, a provider of global video transmission services, has appointed Doug Triblehorn as the company's new vice president for the Asia-Pacific region.

Triblehorn will work to expand Genesis Networks' business in Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand, with plans to move into Singapore and Malaysia later this year. Additionally, Triblehorn will build on relationships with Genesis satellite partners to provide hybrid solutions for customers who require point-to-multipoint or "last mile" access.

Triblehorn began his career with IDB Communications and has held various senior-level positions at Keystone Communications, GlobeCast and Intelsat. He was founder and president of Zap Media Advisers, a consulting firm that advised US and international broadcasters and related companies on successful management of worldwide business operations.

Triblehorn spent seven years in Singapore with GlobeCast, rising to the position of CEO of GlobeCast Asia, and then with Intelsat as vice president, Asia-Pacific, for the company's media and entertainment business unit. Most recently, he was vice president of sales and marketing for End II End Communications, a software company specializing in optimization of wide-area network performance, cost, and efficiencies.
