Video Technics, VCI Solutions introduce file-based server, automation bundle

Video Technics (VT) has partnered with VCI Solutions to create an affordable bundle for the facilitation of a file-based workflow from content delivery to on-air playout. The product bundle includes full-featured automation software from VCI Solutions, Pathfire licensing for syndicated content and the new Apella SDX-MX video server from Video Technics.

The Apella SDX-MX is a new three-channel video server specially outfitted with 6TB of internal storage and the ability to directly ingest native MPEG-2 content from syndication content delivery systems. The solution provides broadcasters with cost-effective, robust automation for master control, while simplifying content delivery.
