Telestream has released version 5.1 of FlipFactory, featuring MetaFlip technology, which addresses the need to transform metadata with video files for submission to cable VOD providers and content aggregators such as iTunes. Additional v5.1 features include encoding of AMR audio in 3GP files for mobile distribution, and support for more MXF and HD formats.
Support for broadcast workflows is expanded with the FlipFactory TrafficManager Centaur monitor, enabling automated ingest of commercials from Centaur Storage catch servers and furthering system interoperability with support for Avid Interplay.
