At IBC2006 (stand 8.480), Euphonix will feature its new System 5 and Max Air control surfaces, which debuted at NAB2006 in April.
Both control surfaces include faster processors with more memory for quicker boot times, more features and faster response. System 5 includes new high-resolution screens and new touch-sensitive knobs with LCD colored rings for clearer display of the channel knob functions. Max Air includes a new external meter option and improved surface color-coding for clearer display.
The company also will highlight its EuCon Hybrid, which integrates DAW control via the EuCon protocol over Ethernet onto the System 5 control surface. It allows users to control the Euphonix DSP as well as bring up any DAW onto the surface, including Logic Pro, Nunendo, Pyramix and Pro Tools.
