Radiant Communications enhances encoder line

Radiant Communications has added to its range of encoders with the release of the VL4125B digital encoder, designed to convert baseband signals to digital ASI streams.

In addition, Radiant Communications has doubled the bandwidth capability of its V4400 series of MPEG-2 encoders by introducing the V4410A-T, which allows users to select up to a 15Mb/s transport stream.

Radiant’s V4400 series of encoders have been used in a variety of IPTV applications, including distance learning, corporate training, security and remote broadcasting with closed captioning. Broadcasters can use the upgraded MPEG-2 encoder to transport Ethernet signals over large distances. And independent cable and broadband operators can combine multiple V4410A-T encoders to build a cost effective system for use in Satellite Master Antenna Television (SMATV) applications.
