Just Edit upgrades vsn.
JustEdit has announced upgrades to four modules from the vsn product line.
Version 3.0 of vsnmatic, the playout and automation system, adds multi-user access to playlists. Users can access and modify the playing rundown remotely and the product upgrade brings improved MXF support.
vsnnews now supports MXF and has improved preview functionality from the journalists’ workstations.
vsncg, the titling module for vsn, adds manual and automatic broadcast of live data tickers, SMS applications and generic data from external links (XML files, ODBC, METAR files, SMS, RSS feeds). It can now schedule unlimited real-time layers with simultaneous automatic/manual title insertion.
The new version of vsnarchive adds support for optical media as an alternative archive to videotapes.
