Dielectric has introduced the omnidirectional TFU-UT bowtie slot turnstile antenna for 470MHz to 860MHz bandwidth service.
The horizontally polarized TFU-UT features durable aluminum construction with a protective radome, an average power rating of 1kW into 7/16 DIN input and 500W into Type N input and VSWR of less than 1.1:1 nominal.
The TFU-UT uses a lighter weight, cross bowtie configuration to combine structural integrity with a low-windload design.
The need for an internal mast and the associated hardware has been eliminated. Each bowtie represents two batwings in a turnstile configuration design, thereby eliminating one half of the feedlines needed to feed the radiators.
The TFU-UT allows for dual inputs that have been developed for single-channel or for the simultaneous broadcast of multiple channels without the need for a combiner.
