Broadcast Pix introduces advanced memory for switchers

Broadcast Pix has introduced advanced memory software for its line of production switchers, called Scripts, which will be demonstrated at NAB2006. Using Scripts, a single-button can be used to select a camera, position it, bring it to air, fade on its specific title, and then fade it out.

The company’s video production switchers include an internal graphics system and clip store as part of its integrated design.

The Scripts software takes advantage of this tight integration by recalling key settings, exact clips, titles and animations to fill the keys. Scripts can also be configured to control camera position and lens, as well as video servers.

Scripts is a standard feature of new Broadcast Pix switchers and is a free download for existing customers.
