By TVTechnology published
The news is filled with stories of studio closings, but new facilities continue to blossom. The Barber Shop Studios is located in a stone church built in 1911 in Lake Hopatcong, NJ, 45 minutes outside of New York City, has targeted May 1 as its opening date. Owned by partners Scott Barber, CEO, and Mark Salamone, president, the Barber Shop offers audio recording and post-production, featuring a 72-channel SSL XL 9000 K, a collection of vintage microphones and 5.1 and 7.1 digital recording, editing, mixing and mastering services. Facility design by Fran Manzella. “We’re presenting a turnkey solution to meet all the artists’ needs,” Barber stated. “Now the artist can record, shoot a music video and have a DVD shot all under one roof.”
