2005 NAMM summer session reports decline in total registrants
By TVTechnology published
NAMM’s annual summer convention at the Indianapolis Convention Center in Indianapolis, IN, reported an overall 13 percent decrease in registrants from the 2004 summer show, with a total of 20,082 registrants for the three-day event. International registration increased by 11 percent.
NAMM CEO and President Joe Lamond said that although early registration numbers were up over the same time period in 2004, in the final weeks before the show the traditional surge of dealers failed to materialize.
The 2006 NAMM Show will take place January 19–22 in Anaheim, CA, and the 2006 Summer Session is scheduled for July 14–16 in Austin, TX.
