WGBH, the famed public television station in Boston, now has Web site where potential corporate sponsors can learn about underwriting programs such as "Masterpiece Theater," "Nova" and "Barney & Friends." Called the Sponsorship Group for Public Television (SGPTV), the Web site is now available at www.sgptv.org.
WGBH produces one-third of the prime-time programs broadcast on PBS and the station has won many awards, including numerous Emmys and two Academy Awards, for its high-quality productions. In addition to working with WGBH's offerings, SGPTV will also have sponsorship information for programs such as "New Yankee Workshop," "The Victory Garden" and "Zoom".
