Visual Circuits debuts new content management software

Minneapolis, Minn.-based Visual Circuits Corp. has released the latest version of Media Messenger, its system management and scheduling software, that now provides control over the full range of the company’s Digital Media Servers. These servers include Firefly, Firefly SC, Mantis, and POPVideo players.

The company said that because existing scheduling and playlists integrate easily with Media Messenger, no hardware upgrade is needed by in-service digital media players to take full advantage of the new release.

David Parish, Visual Circuits’ CEO, said that this new revision offers new customers the ability to scale their Digital Media Network as necessary. Media Messenger will support the expanded system capabilities through any combinations of server and node hardware.

The upgraded version of Media Messenger is complementary for existing Media Messenger customers while an unlimited use Media Messenger software license is also available.

Visual Circuits develops integrated hardware, software and network products that manage, schedule, distribute, store and present digital video in commercial-market media applications. The company’s portfolio ranges from PCI circuit boards to standard and high-definition network-storage media appliances.
