Vinten, a worldwide supplier of camera support equipment, is now shipping its Vector 900 camera head, launched at NAB2004.
Among the first customers to purchase the Vector is mobile production television company Trio Video, which expanded its Phoenix HD truck with seven new camera heads for its HD cameras. The truck, formerly known as X2, is the second HD mobile unit for the Chicago-based company. Trio Video operates nationwide and provides facilities and crews for network, cable and independent broadcasters.
"Vinten always has been an integral part of our Trio Video operations," Roszcybiuk said. "Their reliability and solid construction have been proven though the years."
Game Creek Video--a mobile production company--also bought 16 Vectors for its high definition trucks; Patriot and Yankee Clipper, both to be used at the World Series and the Super Bowl, among other events.
The Vector 900 camera head comes with a retractable soft grip carry handle, LCD multi-function display and retractable adjuster for improved back and forth camera movement. It can handle increased capacity up to 198 pounds.
Vinten, part of the VITEC Group Plc supplies equipment and services to the broadcasting and entertainment industries, and the photographic, retail, communications and corporate sectors.
