This summer, Verizon Wireless’ V CAST mobile service, which runs on the FLO TV service from MediaFLO USA, is providing a wide variety of sports programming from CBS, ESPN, FOX and NBC. This includes live coverage from Wimbledon, which began on June 25 and aired on both the ESPN Mobile TV and NBC2GO channels on the service.
Upcoming events this summer include: NASCAR, golf, soccer, the X Games, a variety of college sports and Arena Football.
More than 400 hours of live sports coverage has been featured on V CAST since the beginning of the year. Recently featured sporting events included the U.S. Open golf championship, the Stanley Cup, men's college basketball, the Preakness Stakes and the qualifying races for the Indianapolis 500.
