TVNZ Takes Advent FlyDrive to Paris for the Rugby World Cup

New Zealand's national broadcaster TVNZ has just completed factory acceptance tests on a new 1.2-metre motorised 'FlyDrive' satellite antenna from Advent Communications, which they have chosen to cover the final stages of the Rugby World Cup.

TVNZ mounted the FlyDrive on a hired vehicle to drive it to France to cover
the Rugby World Cup. Advent's FlyDrive is designed to be carried by air or mounted on a vehicle. The Rugby World Cup is a typical case where a single dish will be used in both modes to cover one news story.

Once back in Wellington, New Zealand, the FlyDrive antenna is to be used on
the back of a Mitsubishi utility vehicle for daily news assignments.
