New Wave Entertainment a Hollywood-based film and TV marketing company has replaced its suite of editing systems with 30 Avid Media Composer Adrenaline systems running on HP xw8000 workstations. The company also added a suite of Avid Productivity Tools, including MediaManager Select and TransferManager, to its three existing Avid Unity MediaNetwork shared-storage environments, enabling media sharing across the facility's Avid systems, as well as externally via private networks.
Seventeen Adrenaline systems, compatible with ABVB and Meridien-based systems, were installed in New Wave's creative advertising dept, while the other 13 went to its television production department. The trailer house will use them to cut together sequences and clips for a series of campaigns for upcoming feature films.
New Wave's facility also includes four Avid Symphony systems in the online/finishing dept., and three Unity MediaNetwork systems connected by Unity TransferManager.
