GlobeCast, a satellite service provider, is delivering Telepace to Europe via its platforms on Hot Bird, and to North America via its GlobeCast WorldTV (Telstar 5) platform.
GlobeCast, a subsidiary of France Telecom, is providing Telepace with an end-to-end satellite services solution, including transmission, uplink and space capacity on its proprietary Hot Bird and Telstar 5 platforms.
GlobeCast receives Telepace’s signal in Rome where it is transferred to the Paris technical operations center for uplink to GlobeCast’s digital platform on Hot Bird. The channel is simultaneously fed via fiber to GlobeCast’s Los Angeles gateway for uplink to GlobeCast WorldTV on Telstar 5.
